I spent one week traveling solo around Taiwan, completely by train, and it was such a beautiful experience.
From peaceful mountain towns to vibrant cities, this trip was full of inspiring places, kind people, and so many little moments I will never forget.
In this video, I take you with me as I travel around the island, stop at some amazing spots, and simply enjoy the journey.

Jiufen is best experienced when it gets dark
I'll be in taiwan for 10 days in a couple of weeks. I'll be visiting Taipei, juifen, Sun Moon lake, Taichung, Tainan and Kaohsiung. I'm so excited and your vlog made me even more so, but I'm also so worried about not knowing hot to speak Mandarin outside of Taipei. How was your experience (I'm assuming you also don't speak Mandarin, if that's not the case, please feel free to correct me)? I keep finding vlogs of solo travellers but they always seem to speak at least some Mandarin so I haven't been able to tell. Can you tell me a little bit about how communicating in general was for you?
